KwikTag for Worksite


 

ImageTag Inc. (www.imagetag.com), of Chandler, Ariz., and Sunnyvale, Calif.'s Interwoven Inc. (www.interwoven.com) have integrated KwikTag and the Interwoven WorkSite document management system. The integration helps users in various locations file paper documents in the Interwoven system. KwikTag gives users the ability to profile paper documents in the same way as other documents destined for a WorkSite system. Users tag their documents by applying a Post-itŪ eFlag to the lead page. The Post-it eFlags are barcoded with globally unique, sequential numbers and sit in a dispenser on each user's desk. Tagged documents are now self-managing and scanned in batches when and where convenient.

KwikTag monitors the output of the various scanning devices, receives the batches and automatically links the specific images to the profiling information, storing them as searchable Adobe PDFs within WorkSite. Notifications can be made to related Interwoven WorkSite users, and automatic auditing is included.
