KwikTag Technology and Deployment

KwikTag T3 – Third Generation ERP Integration

KwikTag originated as a stand-alone document capture system, then led the market by integrating into Microsoft Dynamics as an ERP-embedded application.  It is now in the third generation of integration into Dynamics—and other ERP systems and ISV applications—with an architecture that supports our core technology goals:

  • Accessibility
  • Flexibility
  • Extensibility
  • Enterprise Scalability
  • Open Standards
  • Flexible and Easy Deployment, Maintenance and Usability
  • Smooth Evolution from the past and into the future…

Evolution Becomes Revolutionary

Using the MVC design pattern, KwikTag T3 builds on our core Microsoft .NET 4.0 technology, and adds a Microsoft Silverlight Web client, “KwikSilver”, and expands our versioned API set that are the heart of the KwikTag system.

KwikTag T3 introduces advanced enterprise content management features, such as dynamic case management and enhanced business process management, and KwikApps applications pre-configured to solve the challenges in common business processes.

Our architecture supports integration with third-party business applications, as well as distributed document capture and access. Read more about our Extensibility and ISV Integrations.

Value Through Deployment

KwikTag deploys as a virtual appliance—a pre-configured Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware virtual image delivered on a thumb drive for installation on your existing hardware, or pre-staged on hardware purchased with your solution.  This turnkey solution includes the components of the KwikTag system: application, database, repository, system services, eGate electronic and paper date and image processing engine, ERP-embedded, Web and administrative clients, and integration services.

The KwikTag Appliance is easy to deploy, update, back-up, maintain and expand, and therefore delivers value quickly and with sustained low cost of ownership.

Compatibility

We don’t force you to change anything you don’t want to change.  In addition to working with the scanner/multi-function devices you already own, KwikTag supports drag and drop for electronic documents, email, fax, direct import, and any standard barcode symbology.  Many options exist to enable your distributed locations, and to auto-populate indexing field data—let us show you how!
